Residents Appreciate Free TB Testing Service in Kalideres

The free door-to-door Tuberculosis (TBC) screening service at the Kalideres Sub-district Office, West Jakarta, was appreciated by residents.

It is very important to check health conditions

One of the residents from RT 06/03, Kalideres Urban Village, Linda Hartati (46) admitted the service was greatly helpful.

"It is very important to check health conditions, including TB. If we know before, treatment can be taken more quickly and precisely," he expressed, Tuesday (2/27).

Kalideres Sub-district Head, Wukir Wibowo expressed the TB examination service will be held from February 26 to 27, 2024 targeting State Civil Apparatus (ASN), PJLP, and residents.

"It is done in the framework of the TB control program involving 15 health workers from the Kalideres Sub-district Health Center," he explained.

On February 26, TB screening had been successfully conducted for 100 people. As of 9.30 AM today, 47 people had been served.

"By doing so, it can maintain and improve the health conditions of residents," he stated.
